Product Recall Procedure
Certco has a 10 step procedure for product recalls. When the Purchasing department receives information on a product recalled from the manufacturer or broker, we immediately determine how the store notification is to be distributed whether it's Certified Mail & e-mail, Certified Mail Receipt Requested & e-mail, Phone call plus Certified Mail & e-mail or Store Filed & e-mail. Our goal is to keep the store and customers informed in a timely manner.
